sonytv entertainment office Sony has always offered variety when it comes to entertainment through various properties. Over the
years popular shows such as CID, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Henna , Saaya etc have ruled the roost. However,
in the recent past it has always been the Reality Shows that have hogged the limelight. In 2009, shows
like Indian Idol & Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega gave recognition of sorts to the Channel.
However, the second half of the year marked a significant change in Sony’s fortune.

Since the advent of KBC 4, Sony never really looked backed. Launched on Big B’s birthday, the show
managed to surpass Big Boss hosted by Salman Khan during the first day of telecast, and thereafter
there was no looking back. Somehow the common man tends to associate himself with the show. Sitting
on the Hot Seat in front of ‘Amitabh Bachchan’, dreaming of becoming a Crorepati - Guess that’s what
Reality means for many. Over a period of 8 weeks, the show managed to drive eyeballs to the Channel,
with the TRP’s going up each time a celebrity was a part of the show.

As the show marked its end, Sony had a new offering in the world of Reality - ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’.
12 strong contestants competing against each other and judged by bollywood diva ‘Madhuri Dixit’,
choreographer ‘Remo D’Souza’ & Malaika Arora Khan, the show has already managed to spawn a lot of
excitement. It is left to be seen what the show has to offer in terms of variety in the forthcoming weeks
and whether or not it manages to live up to its hype of being a ‘bigger affair’ than the previous seasons.

In the recent past shows like Comedy Circus have done a world of good for the Channel. The reality-
based stand- up comedy show that brings India's TV celebrities to perform with professional comedian
partners on a highly competitive and challenging stage is truly a unique concept. With shows such as
Comedy Circus Ka Superstars, Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo and Jubilee Comedy Circus, there can never be a
dull moment on the Channel.

Exciting shows coupled with pure entertainment ,thus covering the distance from ‘Reel Life’ to ‘Real
Life’, Sony is beyond doubt a paradigm of ‘Real Entertainment All The Way!’

So Be a Part Of Sony Indian Entertainment channel and have entertainment all the way
